Members Participate in NAMI Walk

Club members spent part of their day Saturday, May 16th at Seaside Park in the National Alliance on Mental Illness walk-a-thon.  The club raised $1,100 for the Special State Project NAMI and had a great time supporting this worthy cause.image

GFWC Celebrates 125th Anniversary

125 years ago this April 24th, the General Federation of Women’s Clubs (GFWC) was formed.  Women’s Clubs throughout the country celebrate this day and their achievements together as a Federation.

Cell Phone Collection

The club is collecting used smart phones, cell phones, iPads and iPods through mid-May.  All money raised from the recycling of these items will be donated to Jersey Battered Women’s Services of Morris County. Stop by the main branch of the library to see the club’s display celebrating our 61th anniversary in April.  April also marks GFWC’s 125th anniversary through GFWC Day on April 24.

NAMI Walk Planned; Donations Requested

The club is participating in the 2015 NAMIWALKS NJ on Saturday, May 16, 2015 at the Boardwalk at Seaside Park, Ocean County, NJ.
