The three winners from the Woman’ Club of Parsippany-Troy Hills 2nd Annual Spelling Bee, Kaydine Gonzalez from Lake Parsippany Elementary School, Ronin Wani from Troy Hills Elementary School and Kimberly Lam from Lake Hiawatha Elementary School participated on Saturday in the New Jersey State Federation of Women’s Clubs of GFWC (NJSFWC) District Spelling Bee held at the Rockaway Assembly of God Church in Rockaway. After 16 rounds, Kimberly qualified for 3rd place. It took another 10 rounds for Almer Capalla-Santos from Jefferson Township to win 1st place and Gregory Marino from Sparta to win 2nd place. All three students will compete in the NJSFWC State Final Spelling Bee Championship to be held at NJSFWC Headquarters in New Brunswick on March 4.
