State Special Project

As part of the NJ State Federation of Women’s Clubs, the Woman’s Club of Parsippany participates in the NJSFWC’s Special State Project.  Every two years, a charitable organization is selected to be the special focus for volunteer activities of clubs throughout the state.  Past Special State Projects have included Family Promise, National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI), Court-Appointed Special Advocates for Children (CASA), Operation Chillout for homeless veterans, the Emmanuel Cancer Foundation, and the New Jersey Children’s Alliance.

For 2026 to 2028, the NJ State Federation of Women’s Clubs Special State Project is Embrella.

As a foster care nonprofit, Embrella promotes an enhanced understanding of foster care and serve as a catalyst for positive advances in the foster care system.
