Advocates for Children

The NJSFWC Advocates for Children program seeks to make a difference in our world by becoming advocates for children. Members may choose to organize projects that benefit children in their community, state, or the world.

Our club members collect the front of greeting card to send to St. Jude’s Ranch. We also collect tabs from cans for Ronald McDonald House. At Christmas we work with Head Start of Morris County (Parsippany office) to supply gifts to the children. We also go to read to the children – such fun!

We’ve made fleece “no-sew” blankets for Project Linus to give to children in need. Donations are also made to Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) to provide to children entering foster care. And every year we take up a collection for UNICEF at one of our meetings.
