State Special Project

As part of the NJ State Federation of Women’s Clubs, the Woman’s Club of Parsippany participates in the NJSFWC’s Special State Project. Every two years, a charitable organization is selected to be the special focus for volunteer activities of clubs throughout the state. Past Special State Projects have included Family Promise, National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI), Court-Appointed Special Advocates for Children (CASA), and Operation Chillout for homeless veterans.

For 2022 to 2024, the Special State Project is Emmanuel Cancer Foundation, an NJ non-profit that provides free support services to pediatric cancer patients and their families. Our club has helped by donating filled back-to-school backpacks and food and toiletry items for free
pantry, by providing help during their holiday party for families and by sharing information about them with our local school nurses. To learn more about ECF, click here.
